Greenfield Park is the smallest of Longueuil's three boroughs. Incorporated as a city in 1911 on former farmland, the community developed thanks to British immigrants, hence its English name and its bilingual status, unique in Longueuil. It has a dense residential fabric of postwar homes, the Hôpital Charles-LeMoyne on boulevard Taschereau and a neighbourhood life enlivened by its parks. Families, healthcare workers and retirees are numerous.
