Privacy and cookie policy
We handle your information with the same care as a transaction: only what is useful, for the stated purpose, and never sold.

This policy describes how Équipe Annie Payant & Jasmin Morin, affiliated with RE/MAX du Cartier (“we,” “our team”), collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information in connection with our real estate services and our website, equipeaj.ca. It complies with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

2. Information we collect
- What you give us: name, phone number, email, property address and details of your project (selling, buying, investing), when you fill out a form, write to us or call us.
- During a transaction: financial or mortgage information where applicable, and identification documents required by law.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, pages viewed. Audience measurement and advertising data are collected only with your consent (see section 5).
3. Why we use it
- To respond to you and support you in your real estate project.
- To prepare an evaluation, show you properties and complete a transaction in accordance with applicable laws, including those governing real estate brokerage.
- To send you our guides, our newsletter or podcast news, if you asked for them.
- To improve our website and our services.
4. Who has access to it
Only Annie Payant, Jasmin Morin and authorized members of our team have access to your information, as part of their duties. We also use service providers that process it on our behalf:
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector): our forms and our client relationship management tool.
- Google Workspace: our email and the filing of our clients’ records.
- Our web host, to keep the website running.
- Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads) and Meta, only if you accept measurement and advertising cookies.
We may also share certain information with RE/MAX du Cartier or the RE/MAX network as needed, with the professionals involved in your transaction (notary, mortgage broker, inspector) with your consent, and with the authorities when required by law. We never sell your information.
5. Cookies
Essential cookies are needed for the website to work. Audience measurement and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta pixel) are activated only after you agree to them in the consent banner. You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of each page, or in your browser settings.
6. Information stored outside Quebec
Some of our service providers, such as GoHighLevel and Google, may store information outside Quebec, including in the United States. Before using them, we make sure that this information receives adequate protection.
7. Retention and security
We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes set out above and to meet the legal obligations of real estate brokerage, then we destroy it securely. We apply reasonable physical, technological and administrative security measures to protect it.
8. Your rights
At any time, you may ask to access your information, have it corrected, request its deletion where justified, withdraw your consent or unsubscribe from our mailings. Write to the person named in section 1: we respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
9. Privilège client area
Our client portal, privilege.equipeaj.ca, has its own privacy policy, presented when you log in.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
