Living in Windsor

Windsor is crossed by the Rivière Saint-François and the Rivière Watopeka. Its industrial history began in the 1860s with a paper mill founded by William Angus and Thomas Logan, which later became a Domtar plant. From 1864 to 1922, a black powder factory also operated here, and its remains now form a historic park. The town attracts families and workers from the Sherbrooke area looking for a small town that is well served.
