Living in Farnham

Farnham is built on the banks of the Yamaska River, at the edge of the St. Lawrence Lowlands. Its first inhabitants, some of them Loyalists, settled there as early as 1800. The city was long an important railway hub, and its station now handles freight. Families, workers from its industries and people who commute daily to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Granby live here.
