In Saint-Paul, the value of each property is recorded on the municipal assessment roll, which you can consult on the website of Saint-Paul or of the MRC de Joliette. This assessment is used to calculate property tax, and the welcome tax when it exceeds the price paid. It is valid for three years and is based on the market at an earlier reference date: that is why it can be far from the current selling price.

Religious heritage
Built in 1803-1804 in the traditional Quebec style and classified in 1973, it holds three paintings by Louis Dulongpré, interior decoration by Chrysostome Perreault and Pierre Guibord, and a 1904 Casavant organ. It regularly hosts concerts of the Festival de Lanaudière, a lovely opportunity to hear classical music in a heritage setting.

The municipal assessment is used to calculate property tax. It is entered on the assessment roll for three years and is based on the market at an earlier reference date, which is why it can differ from the price a buyer would pay today. Market value, on the other hand, is based on recent comparable sales in the area.
The municipal assessment roll is public. You can consult it on the website of Saint-Paul or of the MRC de Joliette, often by address or by lot number. During our evaluation, we also check it for you.
From January to September 2026, 62 single-family homes were sold in Saint-Paul, at a median price of $496,000 (2025: $456,500). Your property may be worth more or less: the free evaluation compares your home with sales in your area.
The work that reassures buyers is what pays off most: roof, windows, electrical and plumbing up to date. Next come the kitchen and bathrooms, fresh paint and exterior touch-ups. Keep all your invoices: they support your price when it's time to sell.
The market moves quickly: an opinion of value reflects sales from the past few months. If you sell several months after the evaluation, or if recent sales change the picture in your area, ask us for an update, free and with no obligation.
